Many people will walk in and out or your life,
but only true
friends will leave footprints in your heart.
To handle yourself, use
your head,
To handle others, use your heart.
Anger is only one
letter short of danger.
If someone betrays you once, it's his
fault.
If he betrays you twice, it's your fault.
Great minds discuss
ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
God Gives every bird it's food,
but He does not throw it into it's
nest.
He who loses money, loses much;
He who loses a friend, loses
more;
He who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are acts
of nature,
but beautiful old people are works of art.
Learn from the
mistakes of others.
You can't live long enough to make them all
yourself.
The tongue weighs practically nothing,
but so few people
can hold it.
Friends, you and me..
you brought another
friend...
and then there were 3....
we started our group.....
Our
circle of friends......
and like that circle.......
there is no
beginning........
there is no end.
There's something in a simple hug |
1. In Kindergarten your idea of
a good friend was the person
who
let you have the red crayon when all
that was left was the ugly
brown one.
2. In 1st grade your idea of a
good friend was the
person who went
to the bathroom with you and held
your hand as you
walked through the
scary halls.
3. In 2nd grade your idea of a
good friend was the person who
helped you to stand up to the class
bully.
4. In 3rd grade your idea of a
good friend was the person
who
shared their lunch with you when you forgot
yours on the bus.
5. In 4th grade your idea of a
good friend was the person who
was
willing to switch square-dancing
partners in gym so you wouldn't
have
to be stuck do-si-doing with
Nasty Nick or Smelly Samantha.
6. In
5th grade your idea of a
friend was the person who saved
a seat on the
back of the bus for
you.
7. In 6th grade your idea of a
friend
was the person who went
up to your new crush and asked them
to dance
with you, so that if
they said no you wouldn't have to be
embarrassed.
8. In 7th grade your idea of a
friend was the person
who let
you copy the social studies homework
from the night before that
you
had not done.
9. In 8th grade your idea of a
friend was
the person who helped
you pack up your stuffed animals and
old soccer
cards so that your
room would be "high schooler" room,
but didn't laugh
at you when you
finished and broke into tears.
10. In 9th grade
your idea of a
good friend was the person who
went to that "cool party"
thrown by a
senior so that you would not be
the only freshman
there.
11. In 10th grade your idea of a
good friend was the person
who
drove you to school before you could
drive so you wouldn't have
to
ride the bus.
12. In 11th grade your idea of a
good friend
was the person who
convinced your parents that you
shouldn't be
grounded, consoled you
when you broke up with your sweetie,
made time
for you even when they
had a sweetie.
13. In 12th grade your idea
of a
good friend was the person who
helped you pick out a college,
assured you that you would get into
that college, helped you deal with
your
parents who were having a hard
time adjusting to the idea of
letting
you go.
14. At graduation your idea of a
good friend
was the person who
was crying on the inside but managed the
biggest
smile one could
give as they congratulated you.
15. The summer
after 12th grade
your idea of a good friend was
the person who helped
you clean up the
(root beer) bottles from that party,
helped you sneak
out of the house
when you just couldn't deal with
your parents, helped
you pack for
college and just silently hugged you as
you looked through
blurry eyes at
18 years of memories you were
leaving behind.
16. Now, your idea of a good
friend is still the person who
gives you
the better of two choices,
holds your hand when you're
scared, helps
you fight off those who try to
take advantage of you, thinks of
you at
times when you are not there,
reminds you of what you have forgotten,
helps you put the past behind you
but understands when you need to
hold
on to it a little longer, stays with
you so that you have confidence,
goes out of their way to make time
for you, helps you clear up your
mistakes, helps you deal with
pressure from others, smiles for you
when
you are sad, helps you become a
better person, and most importantly
loves you!
THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND. No
matter where we go or
who we
become, may we never forget those who helped us
get there. There
is never a
wrong time to pick up the phone or
send a message telling
your
friends how much you miss them or how much
you love them. Pass it
on to someone
who you want to remind. Send this
to all your friends,
old and new, and then
watch and see who sends it back to you.
Our friends are like angels,
Who brighten our days.
In all
kinds of wonderful,
Magical ways.
Their thoughtfulness comes,
As a gift from above.
And we feel we're surrounded,
By warm, caring
love.
Like upside-down rainbows,
Their smiles bring the sun.
And they fill ho-hum moments,
With laughter and fun.
Friends are
like angels,
Without any wings.
Blessing our lives,
With the most
precious things.
A part of you has grown in me,
together forever we shall be,
never apart,
maybe in distance,
but not in heart
